Default S60 2.5T 2004 spring seat issue

Hi everyone! very new on here, and have had a really good look through, but cant find any info!

Can anyone help?
Ive got a 2004 S60 2.5T with 4c suspension. Had a horrible grinding noise on full lock on the NS (RHD) took it in, and my strut bearings were nackered and badly leaking shocks. So a lot of money later, new Monroe 4c shocks, springs, spring seats and bearings later (decent quality ones), all sorted. Now the noise is back 2 months later. Found out the spring has come out the spring seat & grinds on full lock. Got it put back in, and its out again! What could cause this to happen?

Seems to have happened before it was all changed and again now its all new!

Thanks 😁

The spring bowed on someone who didn't tighten down correcting the nuts while compressing the spring. Both the cross nut and the top nut must be tightened only while the spring is fully compressed with spring compressors.

Brilliant thanks for you reply.

This happened before the new springs, and after new springs, what would cause it on the old springs if thats the case? Seems strange to happen twice on the same corner?
