Advice needed please so few weeks ago I got my windscreen resealed after water was dripping down from the ceiling light all over gearstick and centre console and now my fan dosent work heated seats Ect Vida is showing several ccm codes so I’m guessing its been water damaged if I buy a second hand climate control would it work or is it coded to the car?and if it’s transferable how do I transfer the optional extra buttons like folding headrest button Ect .thanks

Think they are coded to the car.
Have you tried drying them? Dehumidifier in the car can help here, even if it's the cheap chemical ones from the diy stores.

I have a similar problem with the landrovers central locking module, have a leak I've not been able to trace yet and water drips onto connectors and wires, works into module and central locking stops working.
I have a spare module that I can swap out on that car, take the wet one into the house and place in the bottom of the airing cupboard untill it's needed to replace the now wet replacement..
If I don't have time to change the module I run with the heaters full and directed to the footwell where the module is, matters not if the fan is not running as the ram effect of travel will force the air through the system. Alternatively try a hair dryer. Be carefully of heat guns as they can melt solder and bugger up the module beyond repair.

Thats disappointing if they are coded😫I have pulled of the whole central console area disconnected all connectors and the air sensor only bit of moisture to be seen..but when I connected all back up the fan blew strong for few seconds then back to nothing tried clearing all codes all come back. I don’t really want to go to Volvo I’ve already spent a lot on her already in 12 months owning her😢
