Hi Chf,

Here you go:

HW P/N 0031260715 AA
SW P/N 0031310710 AA
MAP P/N 31310185 AA
SW Version 00001630/02400
Map Version AEU_06_201001C

It is so much better having the full post code... still hurts having to pay the £215 though !

Guys

I have not got postcode option AT ALL with my MY2005, and the most recient DVD set.

When first used, the DVD booted and went through an upgrade procedure.

Do I need a separate DVD to upgrade firmware to get postcodes working....and possibly 3D view?

Can anyone with a circa MY2005 confirm versions if they have post codes and 3D?

Thanks

David

Mine has postcode. If you go into the enter city option, its in the top right hand corner.
Rob.

To be honest, I always stick my old Navman on the screen, its a million times better (does full post code, and I can update the speed camera's monthly). I used to set both, but you can imagine 2 women telling you where to go was bad, but when Lindsey is in the car, that made 3 and it was unbearable. The MG I had was fitted with the BMW sat nav, which is OK, but my mate has fallen in love with the woman that anounces speed camera's. Mind you my Navman is no better, I tried to record new direction sounds (I wanted to change "please perform a U turn" to "you've gone the wrong way and were all going to die" to tease the kids), but I just ended up with my dopey voice saying "warning gas station" everytime I pass a BP station with LPG, it makes everyone cringe (especially me!) and I can't stop it. So with this in mind its probably best to not follow my advice as me an sat nav don't get on.
Rob.

Yes you have to go city, free search and then there is the postcode option. I have the latest DVD and have full postcode search on a 2004 model.

Obviously I wouldn't do this because its highly illegal, but does anyone have a mate who has successfully copied the latest discs?

Default RTI upgrade for XC70 (2006)

I have just upgraded to the latest disc (Volvo Part No 31310191 1022) in the belief - sadly mistaken - that it would allow postcode searching. All I have is the same as before : just searching by town & street.
