C30 Tyres/Wheels : Price of Ixion wheels?

Same as all newer Volvos... As it is on the same EUCD platform, as S80 II, V70 III, XC60 and XC70 II, it has the same centre bore and there fore will fit the C30 without any hubcentric rings...

Thanks all, I thought the fittings would be the same as most makers tend to standise across a range, saves costs and all.

Only thing I did notice while looking round a V60 (drooling) in the dealers was the S/V60 use 235 wide tires, I'm assuming as it's only 10mm though the rim will actually be the same width, so I could still use 225 wide tires like the C30 Stock.

Depends on the rim width and offset. I've got 8.5" wide rims but 225 tyres... This coupled to an ET of 40. If I had 235 tyres, it would rub.

Yeah that's what I thought, tbh I'd stick to the stock C30 Tire size like it has fitted now, as the wheels should be pretty much identical apart from the design

I have a few extra sets of 18" Ixion wheels with Continental 235/45/18" also 245/45/18" . The problem is i have got them in Gothenburg Sweden.
I don´t know how to do with payment and shipment. I can put them for sale in ebay.uk maybe. Shipment within EU should work without any extra custom fees. But i am unsure how expensive shipment is. Check out if it´s worth it and post me if you are interested. I want 12000 SEK aprox 1150£ for one set.

The wheels have been mounted on demonstraton cars in a carshowroom.
The tires are manufactured 2011 or late 2010.

In Sweden those wheels are quite common maybe because we have the Volvo factory here in Gothenburg (Torslanda). I think they look best on the C30 but they are only shown as original accessories for V/S60 and V70.

Thanks a lot mate, appreciate it. Unfortunately I don't have £1150 + postage right now. Tbh this was a long term idea I had anyway, my first port of call is going to be to get the Midir's Refurb'd and looking their best, then I can keep them for originality.

They are also too wide for the C30. 225 is the maximal tire width recommended...

Ixion are not recommended accessories for C30 by Volvo.
But it´s on C30 they sure looks best.
I´d prefer them rather than Midir that is included in the black-R package.
I have seen several C30 here in Gothenburg with 235 wide tires so is is possible, even if Volvo don´t recommend them.

You need steering deflection limiter for C30 31201 397 for wider wheels.

Best looking wheels for V70 in my opinion is Fortuna ´Diamond cut` not Ixion that Volvo recommends and incudes in the R-Design package.

And I like the Midirs as (in the uk at least) 95% of C30 R-Design's either have the 17s on, or Arterus, so the Midir's are a rare sight.

I think have at least one picture of a white C30 with Ixion wheels at my work.
It was fitted with the 17" from the factory,´those Ixion makes a huge difference i think.
I´ll post them tomorrow around noon.
Everyone allways want the rarest set of wheels that is the challenge.
