For Sale - my lovely 440 1.8 GS Auto

a sad sale of my 440 which is quite a lovely, lovely example. Am really looking for its next suitable owner who will care for it as it deserves. Every piece of paperwork with this car since its showroom purchase day!!!

Presently it's advertised on sites like preloved, carandclassic and friday-ad where more pics etc can be found, but essentially the big big thing with this car is the fully verifiable, paperwork backed history ... totally a one-off in all my years of used car purchases.

Looks [very] tidy Elle.

Probably better if you sling a few more pictures up with a price, though - save you from lots of speculative PMs.

Hiya - it's in Leicestershire, has just about 85600 totally verifiable miles on the clock and price obviously is open to negotiation but really only after someone has seen both the car and all the documentation that comes with it. No gest, but it has every piece of paperwork with it including the first purchase receipt from brand new. Hence, it is in my experience a complete 'one-off'! It is up for £1997 which I'm afraid has attracted some rather unnecessarily offensive comments, but come take a look and judge for yourself. Thanks for your enquiry.

Thank you for that jakobandhismakarov. I struggled to upload more pics as for some reason the volvo site wouldn't accept more which is a pity as I have plenty of the car.

However, needless to say, the price to be settled on eventually is always open to some movement within reason.
But I will certainly bear you in mind and would be curious to know what sort of price you think (given the car comes with every single piece of paperwork including its first purchase invoice from the showroom), it is worth in your opinion.

you wont get 2 grand, not even 1, I sold a car as good as yours with 27,000 miles from new recently and got less than 600. No-one seems to want a 440. If I were you, I'd keep it.

Id say 500 tops being realistic. Shame but thats cars ugly duckings never make much no matter how good they are
