Angry 480 Wheel Arches

Can any one help! My beloved 1990 480ES needs work carried out on her 2 back wheel arches due to the dreaded rust problem. However, not knowing anything about body work I have been given conflicting quotes from garages ect as to how much work is actually required on the arches right from a full arches rebuild to just an infill. Quiet frankly, I dont know who to believe and I am wondering if any one out their can give me some pointers or advise I live in the West Midlands.

All the rot needs to be cut out or it will just spread again. Sadly it's a case of doing it properly or not bothering at all.

Couldn't agree more with what Davey says.

I bought one of my 480s 2 years ago, after it apparently having the arches professionally repaired...
Much as it breaks my heart, in a few weeks, I'll be breaking said car as the tin worm has reared it's ugly head and even the filler has cracked a fair way up one of the rear panels above the arch.

It is truely frightening how fast rust can ravage one of these once it's got a grip.

Do it properly, or don't waste your money.
