Default Front Foglamps

1969 164

Hello,

I'm in the process of restoring the front fog lamps (the two smaller lamps nearest the grill). Electrics and bulbs are working but rubber seals which secure the lens to the metal lamp unit are dry, perished and cracked.

Does anyone have a method of re softening the rubber or know of a suitable replacement seal or other option to hold the lens in place other than using silicone?

Rubber can be revived with glycerine, but don't expect miracles.
