Default Bonnet and Boot Soundproofing?

Just bought a 2017 XC60 2.0 litre diesel. The car is fairly quiet but I noticed that under the bonnet there is just a clip on shield and no real sound proofing material bonded to the metal. Likewise the boot area. I'd really like the car to be as quiet as possible. Does anyone know of a bonnet and boot soundproofing kit for the car that they could recommend?

Cheers,

Sven

Whilst not a vehicle specific kit I have heard/read good reports of a product called Dynamat. This can be used in all areas of the car if so desired, you cut it to shape to suit the area you're covering.I'm not sure though whether you might have clearance issues between the underside of the bonnet and engine top as I don't know how thick Dynamat is or how much gap there is between engine and bonnet.

re Dynamat, I used it on my floors to go under the fitted mats after I had new floor panels welded in, to good effect. However, be sure to check if heat resistant, being that close to hot machinery.
Also degrease thoroughly before sticking in place, as if not the matting may become loose and drop onto moving bits - nasty!

I've known it used on the engine bay side of the bulkhead, but yes definitely check heat resistance before fitting this[or any other such product]and as said by triple-s make sure anything used is well attached.
