OBD I results
Just been checking my OBD system and have a few questions that hopefully someone can shed some light on.
I have no errors reported all 1-1-1 . So just decided to delve a bit further by doing sensor signal tests. Ignition tests are fine but the fuel injection ones have left me in a bit confused. Cable in socket 2 and led flashing . Test for TPS good in idle is fine i get 3-3-2 Test for TPS good in full load results in led still flashing. Now I assume I have to move throttle pivot wheel to full load then back it off slightly to get a reading, well led just flashes until pivot wheel is back at idle then it gives me 3-3-2 again. I get no readings when trying to do the the A/C test or the auto box test. Plus doing the injection system activation tests the fan runs, the injectors are tested then something else tests which is either the idle air control valve or the cold start valve how do I know which as I can only hear one definite result not 2 as if both being tested? Hope you understood the above. Above items are listed in sections 3 and 4 at www.volvoclub.org.uk/faq/EngineOBDCodes.html Regards |
