2.0 10v Auto
Anyone had experience of one?
I'm looking for a run around to replace my P38 while I get on and do some much needed resto work.. It is owned by a local chap and he's offering it for a very low price, spec wise. 2.0 5 cylinder Auto 4spd? Dark blue Air con Leather'ish seats good nick body wise.. Anyone had a 2.0?

They're quite slow, obviously, but you get used to it... Perfectly adequate for regular day-to-day driving though. I wouldn't recommend towing anything heavy with it.
MPG isn't great, but the same goes for any other petrol 850... Apart from that, pretty good? They're fairly simple engines, less to go wrong than on turbo cars or later ones with more electronics / emission control stuff. Usual 850 common faults still apply, esp. PCV system. |

Had a 2.0lt Torslander manual a few years back, adequate but not as economical as you would expect for a 2lt
IIRC the engine uses Fenix 5.2 ignition system so if you need to read any fault codes you'll have to make a flash code reader... What mileage? Still need to check cambelt has been replaced and the other usual things
