Default CD Error and won’t turn off

Hi Chaps and Chapesseses
All of a sundown with noe problem before , my HU850 has come up with CD Error and the HU850 won’t turn off, when the ignition is fully turned off with the key out , the display goes dim but unit remains on , any ideas , no cd’s are in , it’s connected to a Grom kit , radio can be switched to different modes like 6disc changer and radio but no sound , is this a HU850 failure or the CEM Playing up still providing power ?

You posted this in the wrong section .... easily done.

Can't help with diagnostics but if you remove unit and send to central services Ipswich or Essex?? they have a reputation ( on here) of being an OK company.
Search on the "general" 00-07 site for central services for more info.

Cheers
Bob

1) no..only moderators can do that.
2) remove HU850 and send that to central services or your preferred repair site.
