Default Rear camera wash?

In poor weather the rear camera lens on my xc60 quickly gets covered in gunk.
Has anyone found a solution?
I bodged up an additional spray nozzle on my previous sq5 which worked at the same time as the rear window wash but was hoping there might be an easier fix for the Volvo.

no solution. you need to wash it. and clean it with screen/mirror spay in order to give a beautiful clear image.

I made a habit of always putting my thumb over it every time i open the boot, this ensures its clean most of the time, obviously, this does not help when the roads are wet, i do like the extra spray idea though.....

I have a little bottle of rain repellent which I occasionally wipe over the camera lenses.

I just wipe the cameras on my car with a tissue!

I agree it's a pain when they gunk up, especially considering on my old Passat the camera was hidden in the boot release so it was always clean.

Before I bought my V90, I had a test drive in a E-Class estate and the sales guy made a big thing about the rear camera being automatically covered when not in use. I kind of dismissed it as a gimmick...one winter later I think he had a point!

So you just spread the dirt all over your hands, right? If no towel or running water is used...
