Default 25K/4year service

My 2016 XC60 needs its 4 year service. 25K on the clock.
What, besides the usual oil, filter etc needs to be done?
Volvo seem to keep this secret. My previous Hondas had a clear list of service items for each service so surprised that Volvo is different!

You might say that about Honda but my experience with a CRV also says that the parts needed on a service would vary from dealer to dealer!

True, but at least you knew what needed to be done/looked at at the service by looking at the service book.

This is the first marque that I have owned where it seems to be a state secret.
But hey,ho,Volvo knows best.

There are various service sheets available & linked on this forum - you need to search for them though.

One of them - that I keep using myself - is linked in this thread:

https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=168739

Some will say you should not rely on them as they are/might be obsolete. For me it's as good as it gets.

You can also browse this thread for a bit of an enlightenment:

https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=272425

And try using Volvo service price indicator that's available online.

Many thanks, just what I needed. Begs the question why we have to trawl the internet rather than publishing it in the service book.
Have a horror of dealers so useing a local garage to do the work.

My car is the same MY, it is a manual. D5 AWD. I've just had mine serviced at the dealership. 33K miles on the clock. They listed:-
Air filter, Brake fluid change, Engine oil and filter, fuel filter, particle filter, (pollen?). Please don't ask me how much, I have no idea, we took out a service plan when we bought it. Time taken, 1.4 hrs.
Next job, rear discs and pads to be changed. :-(
