Default OBD2 and Dash Command

Just bought an OBD2 reader and dash command on my phone. In dashboard mode it’s suggesting peak power outputs around 210bhp from my 2006 D5.

Is it a reliable measure? Seems unlikely really, unless someone has previously remapped the car of course.

Cheers

Mike

Concluded power is a made up estimated number. Seems over estimated too, of course. To be fair, it might improve with more parameters set in the app.

Other issues are that car scanner (free) reads the fault code I have at present, but Dash Command doesn’t. Seems more focused on performance measurement...

it's a good ballpark but only a estimated figure based on MAF and RPM so I have heard
