Don't bother doing every one - you'll be chasing your tail. Irrelevant really given that the logic behind route selection doesn't get improved at the same time!!

it is annoying that they not list the updates in the updates at least you can check to see if it is worth updating, or waiting till the next one

Ive had a usb stick plugged in to the car for 2 weeks now with just the NW Europe 1240 update. This is the second time i have tried this, having downloaded it to the usb stick for a second time (deleting the old one of course). And the car is still saying it is updating... I guess I have done 200 miles in that time so I think it isn't going to work. I'll wait a few days then try 1243.

Just successfully updated full Europe version of 1240, took approx 1Hr. Although previously didn't want to know the North West Europe.

Do you see any progress on the update or does the display only show "Loading"?

Dear Volvo,

Please try to update your map on a fixed interval (ie, bi-monthly/ quarterly, etc...)

Being an OCD dude like me, I really don't like the message "New software update is available" and I need to blardy find a dedicated 64GB BLANK SD card just to download the map and then takes another 1 hour drive or so to install it. Short drive doesn't seems to work.

Just a minor rant from a sort of getting more and more dissatisfied Volvo driver

In several attempts over 2 years I've never managed to install (only) NW Europe where all-Europe is already installed. I now do the all-Europe update but only occasionally.
