Default Changing Front Pads S90

I’m looking to change the pads on my S90, is there anything special I need to look out for sensors etc. or is it as simple as any other car?

Hi, I changed mine on the XC90 (sure it will be similar) and no special tooling used. The tension/retaining spring setup is slightly different but I held on to it with a pair of mole grips whilst removing it so it was not launched into me.

Half hour each side including removing wheel.

There are videos on youtube of the pads being changed, they are quite straight forward to change, one good tip is to take several photos with your phone before and as you dismantle things, then you will know how they fit back together.
