Distributor pin fitting trick
Hello,
After twenty minutes of swearing I came up with a trick to fit the little pin that stops the distributor pulse generator spinning on its axis. I simply put a little cable tie around the shaft to hold the pin, then tapped it in work a torx screw-driver and hammer. Photo below. Henrik

Nice fix.
In the centre of the shaft, should it be soft like sponge? Yours looks similar to mine, and when I poked it with a screwdriver it was moist and squashy.. |

Every year or so, drop a few drops of 3-in-1 oil in there. Henrik
