Question What Do You Carry As Spares?....

So what do you guys carry with you as spares in your 200's?

Stuff like belts? Plugs? Rotor Arms etc?

Looking at putting something together to cover most of the usual breakdown issues, so very interested in what you have learned over the years to carry around with you.

Guy

Bulbs, belts, rad cap, plugs, rotor arm, ignition amplifier, coil and rudimentary tools.
If I were to embark any further afield, my new alternator and starter motor, being automatic bump starting can be problematic!

My dad carried everything except a body shell in his 121!🙂

All of the above, plus fuel pump relay, and jumper lead with a crocodile grip on each end.
Wire coat hanger, gaffa tape, WD40.

Any hook, bracket etc that's flapping, needs support.

It's the single most useful repair item - every car should carry one

Faith. It's a Volvo 200 series.

(A debit card wouldn't hurt, though ..)

I think I asked this just before heading off on holiday from Suffolk to Cornwall, Moomoo was very succinct, "whatever you take, it'll be something else".

I'm with Wagon Sailor, faith, it's a Volvo, and you don't need to plug it into diagnostics👍👍

Just go with what you feel is sufficient, but a good idea to make sure recovery cover is in place..... I know after having my last Audi A6 Allroad on a flatbed 3 times, hence the Neanderthal purchase of a relatively anaologue 940.

Cheers
Steve

I tend to carry the old fan belts, cam belt and HT leads with cap and rotor as just in case spares. With K jet cars a spare green fuel pump relay is a good idea
