Hi
I am new to the forum today, my name is Dave Perkins and I am from Burton on Trent in Staffordshire, The dark blue 1971 Volvo 144s is my car for sale on the carandclassic website, http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C131435/ the price on the advert is £1750.00 but I would take less for the car from anyone from this club/forum. I would be interested in a 145 with overdrive fitted if anyone is interested in a part exchange (cash difference either way) my email is dave.perkins@btconnect.com[/email] Best Regards Dave Last edited by Dave Perkins; Mar 2nd, 2010 at 11:38. |

Could someone advise me on the colour code / or a colour of a modern car dark blue to match,so I can order a litre of paint for my car
I am going to repair the surface rust on the lower doors and around the front wings next to the indicators, Regards Dave |

I think the paint code for your car is 114 Dark Blue. There may be something close on a modern car, but but "close" isn't good enough. Talk to your local car paint supplier. Modern paint systems are different to the original but they should still be able to colour match it.

Right, the code is 96.
You should have a plate like this under the bonnet, right up near the base of the screen. C.A. Last edited by Citizen.Agfa; Mar 19th, 2010 at 11:41. Reason: To insert a pretty picture... |
