What is a good looking 17" wheel for a V50?
I appreciate this is a personal taste, but which 17" wheel in your opinion (open to all) really suits the V50 |

I've always liked the look of Cratus even though I don't have the set myself.

Originally, I thought I liked Cratus wheels, as those look good on my colleague's R-design, but then I grow to like mine and now I think Saggitas are best looking 17's there are :P I would swap them with Medusa desing in a heartbeat, though....

Depends what you like as said, personal taste but if I had a V50 ... I would just put my 17" aftermarket winter tires on them which are MSW's in grey which look great. few pictures below:

I have the standard 205/50R17 on my D5.
Initially it came with Pirelli P600, worst tyres ever. Then had a couple of sets of Goodyear Efficient grip. Loved these tyres when they were new but as they have a soft compound then the front did not last long. One issue with the Goodyear Efficient Grip is they have a very thin tyre wall and therefore they struggle on heavy cars. Perhaps the lighter V50 1.6 or 2.0 might be a bit better but with a heavy D5 would not reccomend. Have the Efficient Grip on wifes Honda Jazz and they are excellent. Just not suited for heavy cars. Now have P7 Cintauro and seem best so far. Not as grippy as the Michelines when new but they are proving very consistent over time. They also have much better feel over the Goodyear. Next tyres again P7 Cintauro |
