Default Passenger seat bits for Drivers seat use?

Hello , has anyone ever moved the internal foam seating from the bum section of an S40 passenger seat and put it into the drivers side seat ? I have a collapsed drivers seat bum section and wondered if i came across a passenger seat <less use> would it work ? I heard a rumour that they may not be exactly the same.
... Thanks ( S40 2008 )

Link below seems to suggest the actual padding itself is the same for both sides... same for s40, c30, v50 and c70.
