Default Noise from underside front offside

Hi
I can hear a squeaking sound (bit like squeaking sofa springs) from the underside of my car. It only happens when I go over bumps or road undulations, and only happening at one side of the car.
I know I've heard this noise before, I think on my old XC90, but for the life of me I can't remember what it turned out to be.
Car is 7 years old and has done 42000 miles ish. Does anyone know of what this could be? Think it's possibly related to suspension because of when it occurs.

Been listening again this morning to the noise...it’s less of a squeaking and more of a rattle...a bit like someone has a box of bits and pieces and every time I go over a bump or undulation, it jiggles and rattles.
Anyone got any idea?

Things I had wrong with my old XC90 were angle gear failure and steering rack, but I can’t remember what they sounded like - could it be either of them? Or wheel bearing?

Ooh...thank you...that sounds familiar from my old car....any idea if that’s a big job or how expensive?

most likely a stone trapped at the bottom of one of the rear springs , .. OR resting on the top of the rear anti-roll bar

It seems to be louder at the front of the car....does that change your hunch?

Any clues? Trying to judge whether to take it in now or wait until its MOT and service in 3 weeks time...

Just an update to this - and still in search of answers..
car still making this noise but it hasn't got any worse. In fact I've noticed when it's raining and very wet, it doesn't make the noise at all. It's not due in to the garage until next month, so just want to be prepared as to what it might be and therefore what bill I'm likely to get? Thinking of changing my car soon so a big bill isn't welcome (when is it?)
