Default Service Plans

I’ve been reading that people have bought a 5 year service plan for around £500. Did this need to be purchased alongside a new car?

I purchased 3 month old demonstrator and the dealership quoted their own 3 year service plan that was basically the same price as the 1st 3 years servicing costs (£1136). Volvo offer a 3 year plan on their web site for £930.

Where is this £500 5-year service plan? Is this available to purchase after the vehicle?

Thanks

I think it needs to be bought new, yes. We have one on the Range Rover and you had to purchase it within 30 days of first registration.

Sadly you are correct, the heavily discounted service plans were only offered at the time of new car purchase.

I was in exactly the same situation as you, bought a demonstrator V90 but could only opt for the regular 3 year service plan which I think is around £32 per month.
