Default sat nav :-(

Recently had a software update completed at its 1st year service and the latest map update 1256 for europe was completed via my mobile.
first off the maps froze on the sensus but not on the driver dash display.

Then it completely stuck on my last location.

I did a factory reset!

And now the car is in Sweden, any quick fix to this?

I have altered to show the map in Europe as home region , but the unit ignores the request.

you need to take it back to the dealer , It is best to do the map update via the web site and a 64 Gb USB memory stick the files are about 48 Gb for all of Europe .. Try the web method first ...

There is a software fix for the car not appearing in the correct location , are you sure they updated all the software on the service ?

Followed the advice on another thread whereby someone installed the israel map(1gb) , this deleted the NW europe map.
All good so far , I then re installed the NW europe map via the usb volvo download.
Again all good so far, set the map as my home region, UK and the map fails to changeover on the display.
Car booked in to dealers for monday to resolve.

Though , on a journey to the west country this morning , after around 30 minutes driving it locked into the uk map and all is now fine !
Strange.
Will see how it performs over the next few days before cancelling the dealership visit.

Apologies to Pdsam for hi jacking his thread, but it seemed silly to start another with a similar title.

I have recently bought a new to me V90 and rejoined the forum.
I love the car, but the sat nav display is rather bland to say the least.

The rear view and 360 deg camera are fantastic. Super clarity and colour. Better than my ageing ipad!

I have found out quite easily you can switch from 2d to 3d etc., but can the general colour be improved?
