  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Default Where do you clamp the negative jump lead on your V70 ?

My old D5 had a great connector for the negative .The 2.4 does not seem to have this . Jumped a friends car today and it took 3 goes to find a good ground

The recommended negative point is the bracket by the power steering pump.

I would imagine most jump from the engine bay points ? And you should not use the battery negative .

blimey, since when? I've jump started off various different batteries many many times over the years

in this car I wouldn't, but that's just because it's a pain having to lift up the boot floor, unbolt that little metal frame and take the cover off
