  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Default S40 Lack of Power

I have an S40 1.8i 98yr and it seems to lack power when pulling away in first,its almost like it wants to pull away,then thinks about it, then will pick up speed.Is this the norm for this vehicle,as when on a straight road will crusie quiet happly.Cheers Dave

check the small rubber hoses on the back of the inlet manifold for air leaks

Right ok, Where do these hoses go to? apart from the inlet manifold? and do you know what they do.Cheers Dave
