Cool Phew it's hot in here!

My climate control display looks normal but I can only control the fan, the rest of the controls make no difference. So far I have checked all the fuses to the climate control system are OK and checked the two actuator motors that are easily accessible behind the glove box. These do not move in response to the controls. To make a temporary fix I have manually moved the heater flaps so at least I can get some air in the cabin! I have now replaced one of the actuator motors. This does not move either. The heater looks very difficult to get out and I am sure the dealer will charge a fortune. Should I sell the car??

Any suggestions

Sounds like It's the control module, rather than the heater and actuators. Probably expensive to replace but I wouldn't say it's a reason to sell the car just yet.

Suggest taking to Volvo dealer to plug into the computer system. The dealer should be able to tell what is not communicating and an estimated cost to repair.
