@Stebbo,

Welcome, sorry to hear you'd not been greeted as you'd have liked, but hang in there, it is a nice place to visit and there's some very helpful people who log in and out.

Take your time to look around, I hope you find it useful.

Cheers, Lozza

Funny you should ask that mate, I've recently 'upgraded' my Haynes book to it's later revision. The one I had didn't cover the 185 D5 but I bought it knowing this, as many other aspects haven't changed.

Recently they added the 185 D5 to their manual, extending it's range to cover V70 2000 to May 2007 (V to 07 reg) petrol & diesel and S80 1998 to Feb 2006 (S to 55 reg) petrol & diesel. I've since got hold of a copy.

Oddly though it's manual number has remained unchanged, as has it's cover, so you may disregard it on first glance.

Number 4263.

Hope this helps anyway.

Back to the dip stick ! Speaking of rather confused. Anyone know which specific Haynes 'Book of Lies' I'll need for a late 2004 D5. The range they cover seems to exclude my particular model. Any info would be gratefully received.

No wonder you got ignored classing all of us like this!

Anyway, seeing as i still like you:-

And here's me thinking he had had a go at the VOLVO company as well for not saying hello and they had put the X's on the Dipstick to make up again!
