17" Titans For Sale..

I am sad to have to sell these as these are, in my mind, the best wheels available for your Volvo.

I have bought some BIG FAT Front Calipers for my T-5R, that I have promised myself for years, and don't want to fit spacers therefore I have ordered some new wheels as the Titans won't fit.

This then means that my recently refurbished, gorgeous Titans are up for sale. They were refurbished at Lepsons about a year ago and I had them painted a similar anthracite colour that came on the 850 T-5R, trying to stay as original as possible. The colour is a one off and because Lepsons didn't have the paint in their huge list of stock I had to pay for the 3/4 litre that was used. The colour was taken from an AMG Mercedes McLaren SLR. (paint was not cheap but looks awesome).

They come with over half worn rubber, 4-5mm on all the tyres as I rotated the fronts and rears. The tyres are Kumho KU31's and they are 215 40 17 (87W) extra load. To be honest, they are a really good tyre; good in the dry, not too bad in the wet, not noisy at silly speeds and have worn evenly. The tread pattern is pleasing to the eye and I would definately buy them again.

The Wheels; every time the car is cleaned the wheels are taken off individually and soaked, scrubbed and cleaned. Then they are carefully dried, tyre pressures checked and adjusted if needed and then returned to the car torqued as necessary. I really do look after my car..

Each one of the wheels has at least one little kurb mark. I'm being honest and me being a bit of a perfectionist, am really annoyed at myself for these little marks. The kurbs outside my house don't take any prisoners and I got squeezed by a bus once so caught the n/s/r wheel (which is the worst) as I was turning left at a junction. When the wheels are fitted you can't really see the marks because the rest of the wheel detracts you from it and they are all in great condition.. I have taken photos of all the wheels in three positions; wet, dry and the damage to each wheel. I also have the original picture of them when they came back from Lepsons and a picture taken with the flash, late yesterday, so you can see the sparkle of the expensive paint.

I don't really want to sell them but hope someone on one of the forums gets them and loves them... They will come with the new design of Volvo centre cap (as pictured) and they are all fitted with stubby valves so again just enhance the overall look. I will put them on the forums before putting them on eBay but they have to go!!!!! I'm looking for anything over £400 but will obviously take considerably more.... lol, postage/collection/delivery to be organised seperately.
