  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

can you tell me which petronix & coil you installed.
I have a 1971 P1800E & have been thinking of changing myself.

The Pertronix works great on my ES. Installed it together with their flamethrower coil. And no problems with the rev counter. I have set the sparkplug points at 0.9mm. Noticed a much smoother tick-over and seems to pick up better. The part# for the Pertronix is 1847V. That's for the Pertronix 1. There's now a new Pertronix type 2. Don't really know the difference between them though. Here's a site where you can find all the information on them
