What type of Volvo do you own?
Time has come to find out which is the most prevalent model amongst forum users. Is the typical Volvo owner one who has an old, battered but faithfull 2/7/900, is he/she a 'beardy' type who spends all weekend polishing his P1800/Amazon/100/200/300/400/700/900 series or are they an affluent middle class person with the 3yr old V70/S60/S40/V50 and 2.4 kids???
You can vote for more than one series. Note, this is a new poll to replace the last one which contained mistakes. Last edited by TheJoyOfSix; Aug 3rd, 2006 at 21:36. |

Blast, damn it and other sundry swearing type phrases!
I've forgotten the 400 series.... Iain, could you merge the 7/900 and add the 400 as a new category? I have changed the poll as requested IC Last edited by IC; Aug 3rd, 2006 at 22:43. |

Tiffin is/was the name of the midday meal in India and on this side of the pond is associated with the old days of the colony!! Be proud of the 740 for years and miles to come. Good luck and regards |

Evening All
Years ago I started of with a 240 GLE Estate Silver with black leather, then had a 740 Estate, Red ,a manual, after that a 740 GLE Estate metallic light green .also manual. At 256 thou was sold to get the next one a 960 CD Estate 3ltr,and now we have a 850 estate 2.5 GLT 20v in turquoise, auto, was surprised how little difference there was in the size of the load area, can still carry all my gear in the back, three cheers for Nivomats (!) I don't think we could be without a Volvo estate, they're just so damn useful.

Bought my 850 Estate 2 1/2 years ago in Yorkshire to take me and the missus on a one-way trip to Spain. Got there, didn't like the place so the Volvo then brought us all the way back north to Ireland. Best car I've ever driven.
No thoughts about getting another Volvo - why should I when there is probably at least another decade of service in the one I have! |
