Default Amazon 131 (1969) £25!!!! (Bristol)

The time has come to move on for me :'(

All I ask is £25 to confirm you want it!

Well worth it when you think how hard the bits are to get hold of these days!

Its a 1969 131

I started this car a few years back but simply don't have the time now due to work/ college/ family etc. The Lockup it is in has to be vacent by sunday (7 days today) at the latest

I have started to do the usual bits that rust, but have not got round to finishing the car.

Done so far are:

2 x New inner wing rails

2 x New panels going forward from B pillers (behind front wings)

2 X New outrigers and floor finished on one side/ half finished on the other side

Any rust you can see on the new work is where it has been sat in primer and is simply surface. (Has been sat in lockup waiting to be completed!)

Included are ALL the amazon related bits in the lockup (see pictures)

Ideal to restore or use as a parts donor.

If you have any questions my number is 0796 9971594

As said this must be gone by 19th April at the latest so please bear this in mind.

I also have lots of new bits which I will advertise shortly

Sorry to hear you've got to get rid of it mate.

I'm way too far away to take it off your hands, but if somebody near to you does get it & decides to use it as a doner car I'd be interested in getting the drivers side inner wing (the bit with the wheel arch) as mine is pretty rusted and needs swapped out.

You leaving the Volvo family for good or is this just a temporary set back?

Dave, is it just the upper, vertical part of the inner wing (with the corresponding box section) that you need? If so, that's available as a repair section and is very reasonably priced.

Cheers 222s.

I'm not 100% sure how much I'll need to replace yet. I think it might just be the vertical part, but i started poking at it with a screw driver (never a good idea) and more & more started coming away. Didn't want to get the repair section only then find out I've got no good metal to weld to. Until I take the wing off so I can get a good look I was just hedging my bets if there was a wing going spare

Will post a pic later- One thing I wasn't sure was just how structural the part is. I thought it'd be easier & safer to do the whole inner wing.
