Just trying to help but you are better off jacking up and taking off the front nearside (passenger) wheel.

Then a long socket will go straight in between the subframe to get to the top refill nut.........otherwise very difficult to get at with the car all level on the ground.

Loosen the top refill nut FIRST otherwise if you drain the oil and can not undo the top nut you can`t put your oil in!!!

Best to measure the capacity of what comes out and fill with the same measurement.......Total of 2.1 ltrs but you will only get out 2 ltrs.

So if you don`t measure the amount and top up with what the book says 2.1ltrs it will be overfull

Cheers 960

As I will be jacking the nearside to fit a new spring seat and top mount over Christmas sounds like your advice and timing is perfect !
