Default Xenon Headlights (2005 facelift)

Good afternoon,

Long time reader of the forum but decided today that I would join. We have a 2004 XC70 D5 Lux (automatic) which is quite unusual as it used to be a demo car for a London dealership that showcases the changes / improvements for the 2005 facelift and of almost all available options. As such the car has xenon headlights, the newer plastic cover ones instead of the original glass cover ones. Quality is poor, the car has already failed one MOT because the condition of the headlights (replaced with a slightly better second hand one from eBay). It looks like we will be in the same situation come next January and was wondering whether someone might have a set of these available or might have some ideas about where I could find a decent used or new set (as far as I know, they are discontinued). The best option that I have found for now is importing them from Japan, but at crazy prices.

All help and advice is welcome

If you know someone who is handy with a spraygun they should be able to bring them back to as new condition, if you were closer to me i'd do them for you, a smart repairer would be your best bet.
