Running in a virtual machine?
I understood it to be native? Did I get wrong end of the stick?

I'll have to have a poke about and see if it will do virtual machines without requiring mad technical skills that i don't have hahahh

Vida will run natively on Windows 10 and all of the laptops I sell run Vida this way as it is the best solution.

However, installing Vida to run natively onto Windows 10 is neither quick or easy so I offer no support for anyone who wants to do this.

A virtual machine is a good alternative when your options are limited or you don't have a particular set of pc skills.

Looking into the virtual machine options. As I'm windows 10 home, Hyper-V isn't an option and I'm looking at an older version of Virtualbox.

That's ok. The VM I've created is optimised for Virtualbox anyway.

Win10 home is 32bit on my machine, the current version is 6 and 64 bit only, so would be version 5.

I think at this point, I'm going to have to bite the bullet and go for a complete package. I set up a VM using virtualbox and it just crashes before even starting. My tech skills have seriously declined when I can't even gets past the starting blocks! Hahaha

I've only ever used 64 bit machines so wasn't aware of that new limitation.

Fortunately going for my Dice and laptop package isn't dead money as you can always recoup most of it when you sell it on in the future.
There will always be demand for the best diagnostic system for Volvos.
