D5 (2005 on) V70 D5 goes limp

Brilliant diagnostic they say further investigation is required. Most of the time the car drives as normal being the D5 engine, but now and again it looses power (almost like a loss of turbo) but will carry on driving and will often clear itself and carry on. The not so brilliant main dealer does not think it is a turbo fault. DUH!!!!
