General: - 2002 V40 XC reviews?

Hi There. First Post. Currently own a 2003V40. Very recent and short notice option to purchase a 2002 V70 XC. Do you folks have any opinions, reviews, cautions to consider when purchasing this model. 1 owner, less than 200,000Km and in very good condition..

Which gearbox?

An XC from 2002 has/had certainly mechanical failure of the AWD - google up how to test it upon purchase. The car can still drive in FWD.

May even have electronic AWD failure at the DEM module (quite tricky and can let you stranded), make sure no ABS or Anti Skid messages

Throttle body on a 2002 was also fragile and expensive, hopefully it was already replaced. Auto box was fragile as well in 2002, while manual box is fragile at the slave cylinder and costs a lot to repair.

Try finding the true reason the car goes on sale, even if the car looks very clean
