Default Cheap fix for Limp mode cased my leaking mounts

My 2002 V70 D5 has been going into limp mode,
but no dash warning.

It turns out to be the dreaded leaking front engine mount.

Heres the cure for the limp mode tripping untill I get round to replacing
the mount.

Pull off the rubber vacuum pipe at the mount.
Seal the end of pipe with suitable sized piece of anything!!!

Enjoy driving without any limp mode as you have fooled ecu into thinking
no leak. JOB DONE

HOPE THIS IS USEFUL TO SOMEBODY COS ITS BEEN A PAIN IN THE
BUTT FOR ME FOR WEEKS!!

Good mate.

Cant believe how something like engine mount can affect
performance.

Stupid design really.

Glad you fixed your car too, mines like a rocket ship now!!

You're loosing vacuum due to the leaky mount. IIRC the VGT on these cars are vacuum controlled, so no vacuum = no boost.
