A couple of little problems
I have two minor problems with the car and was wondering if anybody had anything similar.
1) The coming home light function, nsf headlight doesn't turn on. Light works fine otherwise so guess its a software fault ? 2) Central locking. Locks fine but will only unlock all the doors once the drivers door is open. Is this a common fault ? I was going to take the car to a main dealer for automatic door locking but wondered if this would solve the problem ? Thanks Ian |

Hi Ian,
Can't answer your first point, but ref the locks it may be that the car's been set up to open the driver's door on the first press and the rest of the locks 2nd time - ie it may not be a problem as such. You don't say what you're driving or what MY it is, but from the S40/V50 (ie after the S60/V70 went on the market) onwards this could be set by the options menu in the "floating" centre console. On the earlier S60s (MY00-06-ish) the dealer could set this on request, and I believe the later S60s the owner could do it by holding buttons and turning keys (all detailed in the handbook).
