Default Parking Brake Again...!

I changed the rear disks on my 2003 V40 2.0 SE Auto last weekend... Nice set of Brembo kit - lovely to work with such good quality parts...

All went well, but I noticed the OS caliper was missing the parking brake return spring... Typically, I now have no parking brake...

I'm told the spring comes as part of the caliper... So I'll need to replace the caliper..!

Prior to this, the parking brake worked fine, and my service brakes are just about perfect now, so I don't believe the caliper(s) are at fault.

Anyone know where the springs can be obtained from? (Without having to buy a caliper...)

Thanks.

Jeff.

P.S. Apologies if this is covered elsewhere in this section if the forum... I tried to use the search function, but it and my Android phone appear to be incompatible...

Personally I'd be off down the breakers yard or contacting a Volvo breakers.Failing that take the other one off to use as a pattern and take it to car accessory shop[s] to see if they can match it to another spring although you may have to buy a pack rather than just a single spring?
