Default Error codes P0102 & P0108 MAF low & MAP high

These codes come up and the car (2005 S60 D5) wont go up a hill, rev above 2500 etc... all those limp mode things. Any way the engine service required warning comes up almost immediately on starting the car and will disappear over 1000 rpm only to return below 1000rpm then to return permanent after driving for a minute. MAF reading is 2g/s or greater (40 and or more)depending on revs and engine load. MAP reads minimum 99 something and above but not a big variation like the MAF. Anyone can help here.

Your MAF should be around 10g/s at idle rising to 90 at full revs when stationary. A low reading like yours does not automatically mean the sensor is faulty.
What unit of measurement is your reader using for the MAP reading?

Toughbook Panasonic with Delphi software. MAF was changed last year. I have just finished changing the head after the timing belt coming off, The car sat up 2 months while I worked on it in my spare time, I'm not sure if there is any relationship, as I'm sure that everything is back as it should be.

g/s is the unit of measurement for the MAF.
I asked what is the unit being used for the MAP?

I'll take an educated guess that your MAP figure is in kPa.
Your MAF as said earlier is low and isn't responding and as your MAP isn't responding either, I would say that either your engine isn't creating vacuum/airflow or you have an air leak so recheck everything and assume nothing.

Default MAP in kPa

Sorry yes its in kPA, Im in the process of cleaning both sensors, i have checked the vacuum lines to mounts and turbo boost solenoid and no leaks (hard blowing and sucking and nothing) Just on another note, a lot of oil on the intake air pipe between the egr metal pipe and the inlet at the rocker

A coating of oil in that pipe isn't unusual.
Because you have a boost solenoid, I take it we're talking about a Euro3 163 with the black engine cover?

Yes 163 hp, aluminium rocker cover though.
Question why would the MAP read high as opposed to the MAF reading low.

Right back out again to put her back together, talk soon.

The engine also sounds like a tug boat when i remove the oil filler cap, I read in other threads that this is not unusual
