I'm trying to find some way to test that one I picked up the other day, I just need to put 12V into it the right way round... Several minutes messing with the connector in my car didn't release the plug. It's awkward in there.
NO SUGGESTIONS THANK YOU. I'm not going to take my car apart for anybody other than myself.

OK Michael.
As I also said previously, if you have a piece of wiring loom (12V or 220V) long enough to reach from one of the car battery's connector to the other, you can test the washer motor by putting on of it's connector's (the positive, let's say) close to the battery's positive connector and the other (negative) connected with the piece of wiring to the negative battery connector. This way is the most simple and fastest if you can't take out the motor's connector in the engine bay. JUST MAKE SURE you connect the right way the motor to the battery (the motor has + and - marking on it's head : where the connector goes

I don't mind if you want to wait for someone else to find a pump for you.
I am NOT going to have not-fully-secured bits of wire anywhere near my battery. I don't want to weld anything, let alone my fingers. I need to find a couple of bullet connectors or something else suitable from somewhere, but I might be going back to the scrappers tomorrow and if I do then I'll grab the original wiring connectors for the pumps.

OK, tested and working.
I used a regulated AC/DC adapter plug thingy with selectable output voltage, set to 12V naturally, and able to deliver up to 500mA, along with a couple of bits of wire twisted into loops at the ends. The pump squirted its remaining fluid out very well indeed, so now I've got a wet knee.

Washer motor cleaned and mounted today as the weather in here allowed this kind of work to be carried out outside, finally.
My windscreen washer works again! Thank you Michael J.
