F/N/Window.
03 Volvo s60 D5 s.
This morning I tried to open my n/s front passenger window. half way down there was a load bang and the front of the window dropped at a 45° angle it took me 15 mins strugling to get the window up I cannot risk opening it again. Is this a common problem. Would anybody know if I have to get a replacment mechanism or are they repairable. Thanks James

Hi.
Yes , very common problem .
You will need two of these . Might as well do both windows whilst you`re at it . The other side probably wont be far behind . |

Pretty sure I found my instructions by searching on YouTube, like pretty much everything else I do these days
Is not a hard job just more fiddly and getting the mech down to the right level where you can access and remove the bushes through the holes in the door |

That`s a very good "How-To" video .
I find it easier to remove the speaker because the access is better . It does mean drilling out the pop-rivets and needing replacements . |
