Default V60 Wing Mirror Upgrade

Just bought a replacement wing mirror - housing and mirror. The one I bought has the puddle lights but the one I am replacing didn't.
Can I just swap them round and get the functionality of the puddle lights?

Thanks,
Andrew

Ahh ok, thanks for the help. I bought it off a scrap dealer so didn't get the extras! Thanks anyway.
Would you have a similar manual for removing the door card?

Couple of screws under the armrest, 12 poppers and four clips along the top of the door.

Steps 2 thru' 5

Just realised I'd posted the wrong link, sorry...Duh!

Brilliant. Thanks for the reply.
One last one - do You know if I need to replace the module or if I can get away with my existing one? Basically I smashed my Wing mirror and have had to replace the entire unit. The one I got has the puddle lights. I know it won't work but going I will still get away with the mirror adjustment without using the software.

Thanks for all help!!

I do not know the answer to that.

The puddle lights are not standard, I think they came with the electric folding option, my guess is it will not work but try and see.

The puddle lights are connected to the lighting button on the key fob.

Just to close out the thread...
Got the mirror installed. Motor works fine, but as expected puddle lights don't.
After being used to working on VW it's nice to work on a car that doesn't require you to replace every single clip when taking something apart.

Thanks again for the help.
