Your probably sorted with Interlink Express (which is the same as DPD btw) although take a look at Pallex (probably not what you are looking for as they specialise in pallet distribution) although a sub is called Pronto Same Day Couriers. Its a franchise model, supported by Hilary Devey (Dragons Den) which uses her Pallex main hubs in Cumbria and the Midlands. You could perhaps try Pronto to trial them and report back on their services?

Simon - parts received this morning via Interlink Express. They had the sense to check if my neighbours were home as we weren't at the time so left the parcel with them and a card with us to say this was what they'd done. Good stuff so far!

Thanks again for (some now rare) parts at great prices.

I can report some good news so far with Interlink, all working well and seems a very good system. Hopefully the 1 hour confirmed delivery slots are going to help our customers too (not sure if they have been used as yet as I have not input the collections myself, all been done directly by the local depot so far).

Everything has got to the correct places on the correct days... so I must say I am very positive at this point that Interlink are going to be able to help us deliver as promised and for the same low prices we have been able to offer.

We are very happy to report that as of August 2012 we are now using Interlink Express for our 24 Hour delivery services. We are able to keep our very low shipping fees that we have had from other delivery firms in the past, though the time had come to find a new courier company after a list of issues arose.

As a bonus Interlink Express will text our customers on the day of the delivery to give a 1 hour window for delivery, a feature we hope will be a big benefit!

Also, all deliveries are carbon offset by Interlink, something we would have had to pay extra for in the past.

We also now have extra options for smaller orders with Interlink 24 Hour so they will take many of the orders we would have sent out with Royal Mail Recorded Delivery in the past.

We are confident changing to Interlink is a very positive step for our mail order service.

The 1 hour delivery is working rufe. Had a text today to say what time they will be delivered and I could reply to sort a different time if I wished. All without hassle and good delivery too.

Excellent company to deal with no issues at all
