new tyres for c70 T5
Hi,
I know this is a topic which has been visited a couple times, but I am thinking of getting Michelin Pilots on my 98 C70 T5 coupe (17inch wheels). I am prepared to pay up to about AU$300 per corner, and have been told about Pirelli's Rossos (which are a bit more) - any suggestions or recommendations? thanks Kieran |

Hi Kieran,
A Volvo driver in Oz?! You must get some stick! I travel to Perth frequently and people are always taking the mick out of me for being a Volvo driver. Goodyear Eagle F1's are great. Excellent wet grip too. Regards Andy |

I was very unimpressed with PZeros, I know Rossos are said to be slightly better, but I would use Michelin PS, bridgestone or goodyear F1 in preference.

Eagle F1 is the only tyre as most have said, they are impressive, i have experienced the odd shower in perth and if you get pirellis there will be one experience for you and it wont be on tarmac i think

Eddie,
Perth WA or Perth Scotland? If Perth WA it's a shame I did not know sooner - I'm more or less finished in Perth now so any Australia trips are usually to ACT and NSW. Regards Andy |
