I reconnected the yellow cables w a 5amp connector from b&q (like a quid for it) nothing extra...
What you wanted to do with the cables would be extra hassle cuz the connectors are already soldered in...

Thanks Skies
The problem is I have not understood from your pics - told you I was dumb - but I think I now have it : You cut the purple / yellow power line Then rejoined with the cheapy connector And added the yellow which is attached to the main lead on the Yatour into the connector ? And you are saying don't bother trying to open the main female connector cis the wires are all soldered on to their respective ports ? |

yeah, cut the yellow-purple, shave the plastic off a bit as usual, and when you reconnect it, add the yellow line from either way
(you close these with a screw onto the wire, so it is damn easy, just make sure, that you actually tightened the screw onto the cables, and they dont slide out) dont try to open it, it is not soldered in, but the connectors are soldered onto the leads, so either way you cut the cable there and try to fix it inside the connector, or you make it hot swappable behind the radio, as noone will see it...

You cant straight trainsger itunes music to sd... You need an itunes to mp3 software to extract you music, as itunes keeps music in a different format (so apple can charge you for more ****)
And cuz the yatour unit isnt supportint the file format And its the same if you want to put these on an usb stick. If u got your music on your phone, you can use 3.5mm jack to 3.5mm jack+ 3.5mm jack to usb type c adapter, if you dont have a jack on your phone Or you can pair your phone with the yatour box (description how to do it should be in the box, the code should be 0000 or 1234 or some lazy bs) and then it should show up as a Bluetooth speaker or headset once you connected it, so anytime you start your car and your bluetooth is on, itd connect to the car straight away, no cables needed... In lazy brit: apple bad, itunes bad, lot of work to get stuff converted to a readable format, music on phone is easy, no cable no hassle magic air connection makes boom boom come from car not phone

Sadly my soon to be ex wife has made it clear she does not want me at her place in Barrow but difficult to see what she is gonna do if I park up on the drive - absolutely fine that silly 🥜 here paid for 90% of the contents of course ! Will let you know when new timing belt is on and shall take a ride up. Had hoped to sort poor running well before I did the belts but hey ho |
