Ireland Meeting.
Brendan, Hi
Where are you thinking of meeting on the 28th? I would like to get there, but my 1972 144GL may not be ready for a long journey. Nonetheless I would appreciate the opportunity to get some tech advice from Volvo-heads in the know! Thanks & regards, Barry. |

hi all
hi,
from the replies received here and off line it would appear that the 4-Nov is the preferred date. Now as to location we seem to be fairly well balanced North and South so what may be handy is a run as follows. Both side would meet up outside Newry for approx noon ( exact location to be confirmed) then head towards Route 1: warrenpoint - kilkeel-annalong-castlewellen-rathfriland- returning to Newry and then home. or Route 2: warrenpoint - kilkeel-annalong- dundrum- ardglass-portaferry-downpatrick-castlewellen-rathfriland- Newry and then home. link to map I still have to check out a place to stop over for lunch , so if anyone knows of a good spot please let me know. Also if you know of a nicer alternative route please let me know. regards brendan |
