Default Wanted 1998 V70 AWD rear brake caliper(s) Girling

Hi all,

I am looking for some new (or very good) rear brake calipers for a 1998 V70 AWD.
The existing LH caliper is not retracting freely.

Casting indicates Girling (not ATE), so I believe that the correct part number is 5003814 .
(Is Girling now sometimes listed under Lucas)?
ie not ATE 3546491

Currently I can only find them in Germany https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/295034969316 at Polar parts.

No longer available from Volvo.

Brake disks are 283 mm diameter, solid (not vented). Volvo part 31262094

At a push I can rebuild (but that is a messy business).
I can see some seal kits at
https://www.biggred.co.uk/volvo-v70-...er-repair-kits
but I currently don't see any piston kits.

Info from FCP
https://blog.fcpeuro.com/3-styles-of...ear-brakes-p80
mentions a possible upgrade to the vented rear disks. Have any of you done that? Does the handbrake (cables and shoes) work without modification?

Any other suggestions?

Thanks,
Steve
