Newer style square top mount retrofits just fine. It surprises me that no one else mentions that they have replaced the firewall mount on which this bracket bolts onto. The rubber bushings on this bracket are most likely in the same condition as the top mount bushing.

just wedge some rubber in there till the new one comes and u have time to fit it. thats what i did. i used a bit of rubber i had that was left over from an old universal air filter. one of the round rubber reducer ring thingies and cut it then tapped it inbetween the centre part of the bush and the outer part. worked a treat for some 3 odd weeks till i got a powerflex bush to replace it with.

@ mkc70, my upper mount was totally gone and the firewall mount is still in good condition. some small cracks i nthe rubber but nothing worth mentioning tbh.
